If God gave you a million religions?

If God gave you one million religions and you are doomed if you don't find the right one how do you go about living? Know that you could be wrong because your religion will say you are right no doubt about it. Could God be in a small village where they practice jumping off a cliff into water as a stage into manhood. Could there conception in God be like the most right? You'll have to devote your life finding the right one so you wont have time to "advance" you'll be primitive searching for the "right" religion and you'll never know which one is truly "right". Saying that wouldn't God be nice or something and say hey just be yourself when you die you go to whatever you want. I mean what if Christianity, Judaism, Islamic religions weren't popular. What if the Aztec sun God really took off instead? You can't tell me yours is right without proof and if you have proof that would defeat the whole purpose of faith...so isn't it all garbage?
