Can someone explain Signs (the movie) to me?

all of these "coincidences" were what was needed to fight off the aliens. the mom knowing and saying these things at her death were from God. that what restored the father's faith. he had lost faith b/c of his wife's death, and b/c of her his faith was restored. it was really a cool movie.
