Colleges with good meteorology/atmospheric sciences programs?

I've still got a couple of years of high school left, but I have always been really interested and pionate about weather. I am interested in a lot of other things too, but this is one thing that I really enjoy. Anyways, I've heard about Oklahoma and Penn State, but they're both pretty far away. I live in Alabama btw. I might be willing to travel farther if I really fell in love with a school. But preferably, I'd like to stay in the southeast. Oh, and do any schools offer a storm chasing course/program?
