Does anyone know any books for my friend's daughter to read?

A few books she liked are "The Old Willis Place." and "Behind the Bedroom Wall." She said to me when her mom was getting tea because I was visiting "I wish I had a book that would really scare me, the Old Willis Place was pretty good, but it didn't get me like hiding under the covers, I want one that'd make me afraid to get up for a gl of water." She is 11. So I am looking for some for her since her birthday is in 14 days. If you have any tell me the title and I can look it up on ebay.
