Why is it that some think that LBJ and certain players "deserve" an NBA title?

Basketball is a team sport so winning a title is a team effort. Eventhough many good/great players have gone without winning a single championship, I can't say that too many deserved to win because they simply didn't. I would have enjoyed seeing Miller get one but the fact is rings are earned, so the players and teams who have won are the ones who deserve it.
