Very stuffy nose? What to take?

I woke up yesterday with a sore throat. Today, it was better but I was all congested, coughing sneezing sniffling. I really need to sleep well tonight and be able to breathe thru my nose; blowing my nose isn't helping anymore. What can I do? Go to CVS right now and get some Mucinex? I've never taken a decongestant before
