Where does dust come from and why does it reappear so soon after we dust?

In homes, it's mostly dead skin cells. You shed thousands of dead skin cells every day and they tend to aculate. It's also composed of dirt and other particles that are in the air at large, and with central air and other things of that nature, it gets all stirred up and distributed throughout the house.
